Curastem is a nonprofit building AI-powered mentorship and career guidance for people navigating education and work with limited support. As a Growth Strategist extern, you’ll help us understand how to reach the right students, mentors, and partner organizations—and turn that understanding into clear, practical action.
You’ll have meaningful autonomy to own scoped GTM projects, run small experiments, and collaborate with product, data, and operations to improve how Curastem grows responsibly.
What You’ll Do
Design and run small GTM experiments (hypothesis, execution, and reflection)
Help refine messaging and positioning for different audiences (students, mentors, partners)
Draft outreach copy for email, partnerships, or landing pages
Research potential partners and build targeted outreach lists
Track basic funnel metrics (engagement, response, conversion)
Collaborate with product and data to connect GTM work to real user behavior
Document learnings clearly so others can build on them
Who You Are
A student or early-career professional interested in growth, partnerships, or strategy
Comfortable wearing both analytical and creative hats
Clear written communicator who likes structured thinking
Curious about how organizations grow without being spammy
Comfortable experimenting, learning quickly, and adjusting course
Reliable, thoughtful, and able to work independently with guidance
Ability to communicate written and spoken language in English
